This is something I've been experiencing too with the same network adapter. Really bad lag spikes where my download speed goes to 0 for anywhere up to 5 secs. Not something I experience on other devices on the network, only on my Omen. I've tried updating the driver, changing my network channel, and port and nothing seems to fix it. An almost unusable machine at this point. I'd love to see this resolved

Hi:

That model wifi adapter is plagued with issues like you reported, and Realtek is constantly releasing driver updates to try and correct the problems with their 8822 and 8821 AC wifi adapters.

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to update the wifi driver to the latest version they have released to HP, and restart the PC.
