Hi all,
I have a brand new Omen 16.1 XF0000, which has a Realtek 8852CE WiFi 6E PCI-E NIC wireless nic installed.
The laptop shows a correctly installed wireless adapter. However it cannot detect any wifi signals.
Currently installed driver:
6001.16.128.0
Troubleshooting already done:
- Installed latest drivers of nic
- Installed latest BIOS version of laptop
- Installed latest WIndows updates
- Completely reinstalled windows from scratch
- Installed all latest drivers of all components of the laptop
- Made sure the laptop is not in "fly" mode
- Uninstalled wireless nic rebooted pc and reinstalled wireless nic
- Searched the www for new drivers, did not find any later then the one installed.
- I have wifi6 access points installed at home, for testing I tested also with hotspot on phone. This also did not detect.
as this is a brand new laptop I did not bother to run nfcscan or dskchk.
anyone an idea on next steps?
@HP is this a known issue? Is there a private fix already available?
Update 28/09/2023: Opened up a case with HP Support. Will update when receive news.

almost one month later, the story continues.
The laptop has been send to HP for repair. Unfortunatly it came back UNREPAIRED.
Booted the laptop, no wifi ..
Got the wifi working by following the procedure above. Tested all day on a wifi 5 network. No issues at all.
Went back home. Tested on my WIFI 6 network. Works for 5 minutes. Then no more networks visible anymore.
So still thinking this a driver issue in combination with WIFI 6.
@HP Any known issues with this type of laptop yet?

Hi @Gaya1239,
thanks for replying. Unfortunatly none of the steps you provided fixed my problem.
However I got the Wifi working again and tested it on a Wifi5 connection. There it seemed to work good and stable.
When I switched back to the Wifi 6 connection however, it stopped working again. (Yes I want to use Wifi6 to have better internet speeds).
For now I'm sick of troubleshooting and want to use my newly bought laptop. (it has already been send to HP and has been gone for one month).
So I gonna use it on Wifi 5.
