I noticed that my laptop wasn't connecting to the ethernet and it won't recognize it. I thought I updated the realtek family controller, however it still isn't working. I noticed in device manager that the driver is hidden and I don't know how to get it back. I have tried downloading and installing one from this link https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/network-interface-controllers-10-100-1000m-gigabit...
However it says that "The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable"
Should I uninstall the driver and reinstall?

Hi:
See if reinstalling the Intel chipset driver gets the ethernet adapter to reappear. Restart the PC after installing the driver.

If that doesn't work, the only other suggestion I can offer would be to do a forced reset of the PC.

So I tried installing and the mouse and trackpad and touch screen stopped working. I tried a hard reset and it came back and the Ethernet worked. And then it stopped working and the mouse, trackpad and touch screen froze again. It keeps doing this. It works for a minute after starting and then freezes

So I tried downloading and my touchscreen, trackpad and mouse all froze and stopped responding. I restarted my laptop and after a minute, those three things froze. Eventually it stopped doing that and it connected to ethernet and everything. I let it sit for about 15 minutes and then tried to go on a website and after a few minutes it crashed. After restarting it crashed again and repeatedly did this for about 10 minutes and I would get this blue screen.
I then turned my laptop off for the night and tried again this morning. After turning it on, it connected to the ethernet and was working fine. After about 10 minutes it crashed. I finally got it to where it wasn't crashing., However my outlook email wasn't working (said security certificate was revoked) and webpages weren't loading correctly. I preformed a hard reset and it still wasn't working fully on ethernet. I disconnected my ethernet about 20 minutes ago and refreshed the webpage and it loaded perfectly on wifi, and emails updated and I am currently posting this on my laptop over wifi. My ethernet is plugged into a thunderbolt 3 docking station and I am not sure if it is that. I had my keyboard plugged into that up until a few days ago because the keyboard stopped working. I have ordered a usb-c one with Ethernet plug. I have also noticed that my realtek family controller is listed as a hidden device in device manager, but when i plug in ethernet it connects to it.
