Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey there, my laptop (HP Notebook - 15-ay543tu) (https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05366603)

has Realtek RTL8723BE Wi-Fi card(https://www.realtek.com/en/products/communications-network-ics/item/rtl8723be)

I'm thinking of upgrading it to Dual band Wi-Fi card.

I found two cards which are supposed to be compatible with my laptop.

1. Realtek RTL8821CE (https://www.realtek.com/en/products/communications-network-ics/item/rtl8821ce)

2. Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter

I'm not sure which one to go for.

Please help me in making a decision for hassle free, compatible & reliable upgrade.

Thank you.

Hi:

If you want Bluetooth like you have now, your only option is the RTL8821CE unless you want to take the whole notebook apart including the display panel to properly run the second Wi-Fi antenna wire, so the Bluetooth works in the Intel 3165 AC card.

Both have the same max throughput specs of 433 MBPS.
