this problem continued to windows 10

i think we need new firmware for compaq cq 58 notbook pc from hp

HP Recommended

If it "Continued" to windows 10 it is because you are 2 years behind on BIOS updates.

Pay someone who knows what a BIOS is to fix your computer for you!!!

It doesn't work on windows 10 I have updated to the latest bios F 29 and the problem still exists. Cant believe HP cant sort this out

HP Recommended

Yes BIOS F.29 is bug with PCI ...

But with BIOS F.27 it's ok with windows 10 but not propose in support ...

But i find the link : http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64501-65000/sp64675.exe

OK . To clarify

1. CQ 58 with Bios F27 will upgrade cleanly to windows 10 and no device errors.

1. CQ 58 with Bios F29 will NOT upgrade cleanly to windows 10 and WILL HAVE device errors with PCI.

And I assume no new Bios to fix the version F29 errors has issued from HP in the last few months????
