@Divu2, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Resolving Wi-Fi Issues on HP Systems!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If you are unable to see the Wi-Fi icon on your HP system and there's no Wi-Fi adapter installed, you can follow these steps to diagnose and resolve the issue:
Check for Physical Switch:
- Some HP laptops have a physical Wi-Fi switch or button which may be turned off. Ensure it is turned on.
Enable Wi-Fi from BIOS:
- Restart your computer and enter the BIOS setup by pressing the appropriate key (usually F10 or Esc) during the boot process.
- Look for Wireless settings and ensure that the wireless adapter is enabled.
Install Wi-Fi Drivers:
- Go to the HP Support website to download and install the latest Wi-Fi drivers for your particular HP system model.
- You can use another computer to download the drivers and then transfer them via USB.
Check in Device Manager:
- Open Device Manager by typing Device Manager in the Windows search bar.
- Expand the "Network adapters" section and check if the Wi-Fi adapter is listed.
- If it is not listed, it might be disabled or there could be a hardware issue.
Using HP Support Assistant:
- If available, use HP Support Assistant to assist in diagnosing the issue. Open HP Support Assistant and run a network check or update your drivers.
Run Windows Troubleshooter:
- From the Start menu, go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Network Adapter and run the troubleshooter.
Reinstall Network Adapter Driver:
- In Device Manager, right-click on your network adapter and select "Uninstall device."
- Restart your computer, and Windows should automatically reinstall the adapter with its drivers.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
