Replace slow realtek RTL8723 wireless card

This Realtek card is really slow. My son uses the laptop for school and has problems with the internet speed. The network provider advices to replace the realtek RTL8723DE card to get better WiFi speed.

Can somebody advice me with which wifi card I can upgrade this rather new laptop? And where I can buy it online, preferably in NL? Thanks

Hi:

Your notebook only has one antenna cable connected to the wifi card in there now.

The only dual band wifi card you will be able to install that will work normally with only one antenna in your notebook is this one.

The only place I have been able to find that card for sale is on eBay.   Do your search by the part number, not the model of the wifi card.

Can I ask you to define 'slow'; mine gets 72.2 Mbps which I don't consider slow.

My son only gets 38 Mbps to his property from his ISP, so.....

In no way is this an alternate to Paul's answer, but there may be an underlying cause that could be fixed without a replacement.
