I have a 2021 17-cn0033dx laptop. I have a realtek rtl8822ce wifi card and it has been terrible. Keeps disconnecting, low speeds. I tried reinstalling it, updating drivers etc. and no luck. At this point I just want a new card but I don't want to buy the same model.

What other cards are compatible with this laptop? Any recommendations for a good card?

Thanks,

Logan

Since your notebook has an Intel Core processor, I recommend you give this Wi-Fi card a try:

Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # / SPS # M27269-005

Below is the link to the service manual for the older model series which is the only one available:

Thank you for your reply.

Is this the chip you are talking about:

thanks.

You're very welcome.

Yes, as you can see, the Intel M27269-005 SPS # on the eBay listing you posted matches the HP part number.

Thank you.

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance.

Please post back and let us know how your notebook's Wi-Fi card upgrade project went.

BTW, this is the latest driver HP currently has for the RTL8822CE Wi-Fi card:

Version 2024.10.230.1

sp155768.exe

Thanks.

I found this other card:

https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Bluetooth-Tri-Band-5400Mbps-Network/dp/B09WQSNMCT/?_encoding=UTF8&pd...

Would this work as well? It is M27269-005 0B instead of 0F. I also suspect it is a knockoff (not intel). Will Intel drivers still work with these knockoff chips?

Thanks again for all your help.

You're very welcome.

Yes, it should work fine.

I'm not sure what those different suffixes mean but usually having a different one is not an issue.

It's the SPS number that is the most important aspect.

Just bought it. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks again!

Anytime.

If it works (which it should), it should be an excellent improvement over the Realtek card.
