I am Trying to upgrade my little buddy.
HP Split x2 13-g210dx
The wifi and bluetooth cutout, so im just going to replace the module, along with anything else i can afford.
My Question. HP is very "Use our stuff". Can i upgrade my WLAN module to:
https://www.wifigeeks.org/best-laptop-wifi-card/
Or any other ones. Most of the ones listed state they cant be used with HP.

Hi:
You should be able to upgrade to this card, which would be the best you can do...
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 HP Part #710661-001
That model should be easily available on Amazon or eBay. Shouldn't cost more than $20 - $25.
The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with an Intel Wireless-N 7260BN 802.11 b/g/n 2x2 WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 combination WLAN adapter. HP part # 717384-006.
The model you posted is an M.2 form factor card, and won't fit in the HMC card slot the wifi card goes into.

Thank you for the response.
But- im confused.
All of the WIFI cards listen were PCIe, and a couple of them were Half-sized.
The current one installed is NOT an "N" card, or have Bluetooth4.0
I am trying to stay away from HP products honestly. I have MANY issues with HP' Products. My Wifi/Bluetooth card has been acting like this since i got it years ago. I've only decided to keep the device, and am upgrading it to something useable.
Imagine paying for this laptop, and then continuously having issues, but due to not being: "Easily Reproduced" i have to deal with the horror. If i had the money, I would buy something new. But, WITH that said. I am not going to just buy "HP Suggested parts" - I would like a part that will WORK.
THank you.

You're very welcome.
I can only go by what the parts list indicates your notebook comes with.
I don't know anything about Linux operating systems so if there is a way you can identify the make and model of the wifi card you can confirm that with the parts list.
This is what your current card looks like if the parts list is correct.
If the parts list is correct, that card should be connecting at 144 MBPS on the 2.4 GHz wifi N band.
I can only recommend the card I posted for your model. It would be the best one you can install.
I have no other alternatives or suggestions to offer.

So, let me get this straight.
FIrst you tell me that the list i provided was wrong, But they werent.
Then you repeat the card- i dont have. I DONT.
And instead of telling me you cant review the referenced list.
You only refer to the crappy list i originated stated im not ok. with.
So your repsonse probably shoulda sounded more like.
The list you provided Might night match the Recommended Parts due to SIZE. You'd want a mini PCIe card.
Make sure not to purchase a M.2 card. ALso- becaus i was dilligent, i read the list of item you listed. And you should be careful if you missed it. Most of the cards listed state They do not work with HP.
A couple of them do- and state to a reference to verify.
Speaking of which. That is the question i was asking.
WILL THE MENTIONED PARTS WORK.
They are PCIe - as needed.
A couple of them are Half Sized - as needed.
And with other research, they are "Supprted" Intel boards - waiting on YOUR answer.
Thanks.

Holy cow.
I'm not sure who's more in the wrong. You, or ME.
You didnt review this page at all except to refer to store parts only.
I - didnt analyze the parts, to realize the store suggest part is the same as the #1 part.
Smh -
