Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Please click here for the youtube video of unboxing an HP printer.

If you watch the video around 7:50 seconds, the video will show you on how to press the keys on the printer to enter a password.

When you see the keypad, press the 123? key, and then the #+= key to see the $ sign.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
