Hi all,
Was wondering if i could find some assistance here. I recently bought an Elitebook 1030 x360 G2. This model has an inbuilt HP lt4132 LTE modem however for the life of me i cannot get it to work! I have inserted a data SIM into the SIM slot.
When i look in device manager -> network adapters, all i see is the Intel AC-8265 and a bunch of WAN Miniport devices. Should I be seeing the lt4132 modem in here?
I figured i should, so i went to the HP support website and downloaded the latest driver for the lt4132 for my device here:
https://support.hp.com/au-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-x360-1030-g2/14169372
My following issue is then when i run the extraction exe and then run the driver installer exe, i get the popup asking if i want to allow this program to make changes to the compter, i press yes, and then there's no more dialog boxes after that. it's as if the driver update/install program does not run.
Any hints or tips for me to try?
Thanks all.

Hi:
Yes, you should definitely be seeing the lt4132 LTE under the Network Adapters device manager category, if your specific model has a WWAN card.
It may be turned off by default. Check the BIOS settings to see if the device is present and enabled.
See if this info is of any help.

Also the quickspecs for your model below, page 8, indicates that the HP lt4132 LTE/HSPA+ 4G Mobile Broadband is an option, not standard.
You would need to check the specific product number of your notebook to see if that product number includes the wwan card.
