Hello,
My EliteBook 8560w doesn't recognize inserted SIM CARD. I tried everything I know to solve it:
- Downloaded drivers from official HP wesite
- Updated Windows
- Tried to instal it from Device manager
- Tried with different SIM cards
Serial number of my product is [personal information removed per Rules Of Participation]
Is there some solution?
Thanks.

Hi:
All HP Elitebook notebooks and mobile workstations have SIM card slots.
What 90% of them don't have is the required WWAN (mobile broadband wifi card).
Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook's specific product number.

It does not have the required mobile broadband (WWAN) device, which is why the SIM card is doing nothing.
You would have to purchase one of the optional WWAN cards listed in the service manual for your notebook, and it must have the HP part number on it, or it won't work.
Before ordering the part, you will first have to make sure that the required antenna cables are present to connect to the WWAN card.
Below is the link to the service manual. The optional WWAN cards and part numbers can be found in chapter 3, page 25 (item 35).

The WWAN card R & R procedure can be found in chapter 4.
