Kindly assist as my laptop does not detect when I insert the sim card. laptop model is :Folio9480m

Hi:

 

The SIM card won't work without the WWAN adapter, which was an optional and expensive component.

 

90% of the Folio 9480m notebooks did not come with this option.

 

In order for the SIM card to work, your notebook needs to have one of these model WWAN adapters present in the device manager under the Network Adapters device manager category.

 

  • HP hs3110 HSPA+ Mobile Broadband*
  • HP lt4211 LTE/EV-DO/HSPA+ Qualcomm® Gobi™ 4G Mobile Broadband*
  • HP lt4112 LTE/HSPA+ Qualcomm® Gobi™ 4G Mobile Broadband*
