Hi @GABRIELLA19,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand your HP 15-e2000 laptop keeps disconnecting from Wi-Fi and then reconnecting, causing frequent connection drops. Let’s go through a few steps to troubleshoot this.
Restart Devices
Restart your laptop and your Wi-Fi router.
Sometimes a simple reboot resolves temporary network glitches.
Update Wi-Fi Driver
Press Win + X → select Device Manager.
Expand Network adapters → right-click your Wi-Fi adapter → Update driver → Search automatically for drivers.
Alternatively, download the latest driver from the HP Support website.
Check Power Settings
Go to Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Power Options.
Click Change plan settings → Change advanced power settings.
Expand Wireless Adapter Settings → Power Saving Mode → set both On battery and Plugged in to Maximum Performance.
Forget and Reconnect to Network
Click Wi-Fi icon → Network & Internet settings → Wi-Fi → Manage known networks.
Select your network → Forget.
Reconnect by entering the password again.
Disable Wi-Fi Sense / Metered Network
Some Windows 11 features may limit Wi-Fi connectivity.
Go to Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → Manage known networks and make sure features like Connect automatically to suggested open hotspots are disabled.
Check for Windows Updates
Go to Settings → Windows Update and install any pending updates.
Updates can fix known connectivity issues.
Run Network Troubleshooter
Go to Settings → System → Troubleshoot → Other troubleshooters → Internet Connections → Run.
Follow the on-screen instructions to detect and fix network issues.
Try Different Network
If possible, test your laptop on another Wi-Fi network to see if the issue persists.
This helps determine if the problem is with your laptop or the router.
I hope this helps.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
