Hi:

 

You need to have the optional WWAN adapter installed in order to use the SIM card.

 

Since you are asking this question, your notebook does not have the optional WWAN adapter required to connect to mobile broadband.

 

Consult your specific model notebook's service manual for the list of supported WWAN adapters with their HP part numbers to order.
