Recently bought a HP 15s-fq1048ns equipped with a Realtek rtl8822ce 802.11ac adapter.
When I try to connect to my 5G wireless network it is only capable of downloading at 25 Mbps, my old Acer downloads at 125 Mbps. The protocol of the 5G wifi is 802.11a and the linkspeed is 54/54 (Mbps).
SSID: Artabria 5G
Protocol: 802.11a
Security type: WPA2-Personal
Network band: 5 GHz
Network channel: 36
Link speed (Receive/Transmit): 54/54 (Mbps)
IPv4 address: 192.168.0.15
IPv4 DNS servers: 213.60.205.175
8.8.8.8
Manufacturer: Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
Description: Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter
Driver version: 2024.0.10.221
I went to Device manager \ Network adapters \Realtek rtl8822ce 802.11ac to uptade drivers ans Windows tell me that the best drivers are installed.
In properties of the Realtek rtl8822ce adapter i have:
- 802.11d > enable
- 802. 11n channel width for 5.2Ghz > value auto.
- Wireless mode > 802.11 a\b\g
- Preferred Band > 5G first
- Transmit power > 5 highest
Everything seems correct. Where is my problem?
Thanks.
