Hello everyone
I've bought this PC 2 years ago which included the default Win8 version.
Then, I upgraded to Win8 Pro.
At the beggining I had no troubles using it, but lately I had some sort of problems related to WiFi drivers
When I had Win8, drivers couldn't even detect most of the networks neraby PC, and when it detected mine (and managed to connect to it) connetion was very slow and couln't even open any server (like Google or HP forums) I kept trying drivers diferent recomended drivers (from the Download Center) and any of them worked properly; they solver the issue for a little time and then the problem comes back.
I got tired of it so I decided to try Windows 10, but now I'm a way similar problem connection is good, but download speed is something like 62kbps (I have a 10mb speed network). This is making me crazy.
I download all my driver from the Official Download Center provided by HP, and any of them work properly. Does anyone have any suggestion?
Might not be an important thing, but it could be an extra info: my battery has ended its life, so it doens't recieve any charge.
Current driver: Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 bgn

Try the steps recommended below to solve the wireless issue with your PC.
Change channel width for your network adapter
“Windows 10 can’t connect to this network” message sometimes appears if the channel width of your wireless adapter isn’t set properly. To change the channel width, do the following:
Press Windows Key + S and enter type network. Chose Network and Sharing Center from the list of results.
When Network and Sharing Center opens, click the Change adapter settings.
Locate your wireless adapter and right click it. Choose Properties from the menu.
When Properties window opens, navigate to the Advanced tab.
Select the 802.11 channel width and change the value. Some users have reported that changing the value to 20 MHz has fixed the issue for them, but you might have to use a different value.
Click OK to save the changes.
Disable IPv6 on your computer and router
To solve “Windows 10 can’t connect to this network” error, sometimes you have to disable IPv6 network protocol. To do this in Windows 10, follow these steps:

If a User Account Control screen displays asking if you want to allow the app to make changes to your computer, click Yes.
Type the following commands one at a time, pressing Enter after each one.
