When  wireless printing from IPad to HP deskjet 4535 the speed of printing is very slow(fine when wireless printing from MacBook Air.It appears to be a wireless problem since on clicking Settings, then WiFi,and then on HP printer continuous buffering is seen

A warm welcome to HP Forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

Updating iOS, printer firmware and then performing a network power cycle may resolve the issue. Let's try these steps:

Please ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and iOS is up to date with it's software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and iOS software:

Update printer firmware

Update iOS

1.) Turn off your iPad, Printer and Router.

2.) Unplug the power from the back of router, wait for 10 -15 seconds.

3.) Connect the power cable back to router, turn on the router first. Wait till the router to initialize.

4.) Turn on Printer and iPad, try to print.

Let me know how it goes!

Grateful for the suggestion but it did not resolve the issue.I downloaded Network Configuration page from Printer and all seems ok except under “ Number of networks discovered “ my network is shown with a Signal of -17 and “NO” under WPS.Dont know whether these are relevant to the problem.Incidentally my Printer is 4535 not 4539? Is this material.

The MacBook Air wireless printing is now ok..I should point out that IPad is a recent replacement. Can you suggest other avenues to explore.I am in Penang Malaysia.Would a HP service man visit to help fix?

Normally the wireless networks is displayed from as per the signal strength, it sounds like the wireless signal strength is set as low on your WiFi router. Try updating the wireless router and increasing the wireless signal strength, you may contact your internet service provider or router manufacture to update the router and increase the wireless signal strength.
