Product: Hp Elitebook 845 G7 Ryzen 5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello.  Specifications state my HP Elitebook 845 G7 Ryzen 5 has 1 external sim card slot as well as smart card reader.  I can see both slots but nano card slot has an unbreakable seal and smart card slot is just a long dark hole on left side.  I already have nano card ready to use but cannot work out how to insert it as the seal wont shift to insert or reveal pull out tray. with a bit of research i think i need to install drivers but these are not automatically installing after download and i'm getting no where.  Can someone help please.  Thank you Annette

Did you buy all 2 options. From the Maintenance and Service Guide the Smart card reader on the left is OPTIONAL  (page 😎 . Same as nano SIM card on the right side (page 6).

 

I did not order them for my machine (which is an Intel version) therefore I do not have both

Ok thank you for your response.  I thought it was standard plug n play but i realise this did come as standard so i will add as extra's at a later date. Regards.  Annette
