Hey everyone, I'm new to HP, having moved over from Surface laptops. I bought an Envy x360 from China last week and the HP shop staff said I can just reinstall Windows in English when I get home.
However, when I followed the HP guide, I got stuck in a loop when the laptop reboots for the first time in the installation process, at which point I'm taken back to the first step (Install Windows).
Does anyone have any tips? I spoke to a support person at HP but they couldn't work out what the problem was.
Any help much appreciated!

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to try removing the USB flash drive just as the notebook turns off during the restart.
For some reason the notebook is booting again from the flash drive instead of proceeding with the rest of the Windows installation process.
I'm pretty sure that all of the Windows installation files have been loaded when the PC restarts.

Why not just install an English language pack instead of completely reinstalling Windows? Not sure that would work but if it did it would be a lot less work than what you are doing.
Also, is the keyboard Chinese or English?
