I have  a simple  question and cannot seem to be able to talk to anyone but I end up getting a charge to my credit card.  Why?

Hi @MtnRose2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The charges on your credit card could be related to a few potential reasons, especially if you're subscribed to an HP service plan such as the HP All-In Plan for Print or HP Instant Ink. Here are some reasons why you might see charges on your credit card:

1. HP All-In Plan for Print Subscription: If you are enrolled in the HP All-In Plan for Print, your monthly bill is based on the pages printed, not shipments received. All printed pages are counted, and your regular monthly payment covers printing of your plan pages and any accumulated rollover pages. If you print more than your plan and rollover pages, you are billed for additional pages.

More details about the billing can be found HP All-In Plan for Print support and information (United States) | HP® Support.

2. HP Instant Ink Subscription: If you are subscribed to HP Instant Ink, you will get charged based on your subscription plan, which includes ink usage and shipments. The plan charge is typically done monthly, and it may vary based on your printing volume.

You might want to check your monthly usage and update any payment details if needed through your HP Instant Ink account page.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
