I'm having the same issues and it started after updating. I've tried to go back to the last update but the problem is still there. I have to uninstall the Intel driver shut down the laptop, restart and sometimes the wifi symbol will show up if not I have to repeat the process until i see the symbol shows up. Why is this happening?!?! ugh....
