My HP Laptop won't connect to my GalaxyS24.

When I go to pair the two, they both show the same pairing code and they both INITIALLY will say CONNECTED and then my laptop says it's disconnected!

I've tried multiple times & multiple ways with no avail.  Can anyone please help me?

Hi @Jim1477,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding laptops connectivity!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Remove & Re-Pair the Devices

  • On your laptop:
    • Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices
    • Click on your Galaxy S24, then select Remove device
  • On your Galaxy S24:
    • Open Settings > Connections > Bluetooth
    • Find your HP Laptop, tap Forget

Now, restart both devices and try pairing again.

Update Bluetooth Drivers

  • Press Win + X > Select Device Manager
  • Expand Bluetooth, right-click your Bluetooth device, and choose Update driver
  • Select Search automatically for drivers

If no updates are found, go to HP’s website and manually install the latest Bluetooth driver.

Turn Off Battery Saver & Power Management

  • On your laptop:
    • Go to Settings > System > Power & sleep
    • Make sure Battery saver is turned off
    • In Device Manager, right-click the Bluetooth adapter, go to Properties > Power Management, and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

Check for Bluetooth Interference & Test Another Device

  • Move your laptop and phone closer (avoid WiFi routers, microwaves, or other electronic interference)
  • Try pairing your Galaxy S24 with another device to confirm the issue
  • Try pairing your HP laptop with another phone

Let me know how it goes. 💙
