Product: HP Envy x360 m6 convertivle
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to connect my HP envy laptop to a wired internet connection via an USB ethernet adapter.  The computer doesn't recognize the connection.  I've tried running the troubleshooting.   Tried setting up a new VPN.  I thought I could just plug in the USB/ethernet adapter and it would automatically connect to the internet.  The wifi connection works fine.

HP Recommended

I just fixed it!  I turned off the wifi in the Windows 10 network settings and it worked!
