HP USB-C Dock G4 on Elitebook 1030 x360 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I face an issue with my new Elitebook x360 1030 G3 with connected USB-C Dock G4.

The Ethernet port on the dock is not working.

Neither the NIC is in the Device List nor Network view.

It just looks as if it is not there at all.

It cannot be the cable-it just work well on another laptop.

Is there anything to activate to get the NIC in the dock working?

I already did the upgrade to newest Firmware and everything else seems to work well..

Thanks for support..

I have seen this issue on a couple computers using USB-C docks. For me, it was solved by disabling all thunderbolt security in the BIOS.

Thank you,

This remark has solved the issue. I have disabled to treat the Thunderbold ports as only thunderbolt. Afterwards the dock works as expected..

Thank you!
