Hi Everyone,
I own an HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC (Product Number: F6C48PA#ACJ, Intel Core i5-4200U). I am unable to find the Bluetooth driver for this model on the HP support website. I have already contacted Microsoft, but they advised me to reach out to HP for the correct driver. Could you please provide the Bluetooth driver download link or guidance to resolve this issue?

I am using Windows 11 Pro.

Laptop I have is HP Pavilion 15-n208tx

It says does not exist.

What model Wi-Fi adapter does your notebook come with?

If it has the Ralink RT3290 Wi-Fi adapter, the Bluetooth is not supported in W10 or W11.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the reply. I am attaching a screenshot of my device manager. Kindly have a look at it. I am assuming that it is Ralink RT3290 Wi-Fi adapter only, but even if so then is there any workaround to this issue? I tried contacting HP Support, Microsoft regarding this issue but they are not helpful in any way.

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, since your notebook has the Ralink RT3290 Wi-Fi adapter, the Ralink Bluetooth no longer works on the newer builds of W10.

There is no fix, and I see that the driver is already installed.

You have two options:

1. Use a USB Bluetooth adapter.

2. Replace the Ralink card with a better model which is dual band and has Bluetooth that works on W10 and W11.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure:

Maybe your local PC repair shop may have one.

Another option would be this card:
