Calling on forum Techs for help. Last night, my wireless turned off on my back-up pc, Product version is above. When I attempted to turn wireless back on, by accessing networks available, dialogue box came up above wireless symbol on toolbar, showing no networks being available, requesting manual turn on of wireless, in 1 hour, 1 day, or 1 week.Pull up my primary pc, internet connections fine, so problem is either in version of windows, or pc. Am currently doing a system rest on backup pc, to see if windows version is the problem.
My question is, how do I bypass the manual rest option, so I can reconnect to the wireless? Is it the card, or is there a trick techs can pass on to me.

Looked at additional tips from another post on same issue, troubleshooting described a standalone button with wireless symbol above or near the keyboard. On my HP version, again, HP Pavilion M6-1035dx notebook, couldnt locate such a button.

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.
I see that you are having issues turning on the wireless on your HP Pavilion m6-1035
I'd like to help.
The Wireless Button might be on the F12 Key. Try hitting the F12 or Fn + F12 to turn On / Off the wireless.
I suggest to go to Device Manager and update the wireless driver
- In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
- In the list of devices, look for Network Adapters
- Right-click the Wireless driver and select Update Driver Software.
- Click Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated driver.
- Restart your computer to complete the installation of the updates.
If the issue persists, please try a System Restore to an earlier time before the issue started
- Select the Start button, type control panel and then choose it from the list of results.
- Search Control Panel for Recovery.
- Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
- Choose the restore point related to the problematic app, driver, or update, and then select Next > Finish.
You can also follow the steps in this Guided Troubleshooter. Please click Here
Keep me posted how it goes and let me know if you need further assistance
Thank you 🙂
