So update us on what hasn't worked. The last exchange we had- you said Recovery option was greyed I believe and you were going to order Recovery Media. Did you order it and after installing you still do not have wireless??

If needed your Support page is in this link- drivers plus link to order Recovery Media last in the list.

So from what i remember i tried to just completly factory reset the laptop. it said that the reset failed and that no changes were made. i eventually just gave up and put the thing in my closet so i didnt have t look at it. i havnt done anything since. when i tried to download the drivers using this website https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-15-ba000-notebook-pc-series-touch/10862319/model... but when ever i tried opening the application to download it would say it was downloading, then it would say it was complet and the window would close, but it didnt fix it? and some other times it would just take me to a weird text chat....? this isnt what it said but it looked like this https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwiC-rPhmpneAhU1Mn0KHYXkA...

Did you try a System Recovery? Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key again. In the menu look for  F11 System Recovery. Tap F11 key. You should see this on the screen.

  1. On the Choose an Option screen, click Troubleshoot.
Figure: Choose an option with Troubleshoot selected
  2. On the Troubleshoot screen, click Recovery Manager.
Figure: Troubleshoot with Recovery Manager selected
  3. Under Help, click System Recovery.
Figure: Help with System Recovery selected
