Update wifi card

Hello all, I have a HP Laptop 15s-eq2021ns with wifi card: Realtek RTL8822CE and I'm not happy with how the card works, allways connects in 2.4 ghz when 5 ghz  is available too. I've configured, in hardware properties, the preferred mode in 5 ghz. but the card auto select 2.4 because the signal is slightly stronger. My question: Is there a wifi card compatible with my motherboard with wifi 6 integrated?, thanks

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to see if this model wifi card works on yours.

This is the one that came with my HP 15-ee0047nr notebook with the AMD Ryzen 4500U processor.

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # L35282-005.

You should be able to find the card on eBay.  Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

Intel cards must be non-vPro when installed in consumer class notebooks such as ours.

You can buy it directly from the HP parts store, but it is very expensive.

HP only has the older service manual for the previous model series on your notebook's support page, but it should be of help to you for opening up the notebook and replacing the wifi card.
