I find my factory bluetooth has never worked great and would like to upgrade from the stock 4.2 version to the 5.0 bluetooth standard.

Will my unit take an Intel AX200NGW card or a different type like a 9260NGW or something else?

Thanks for the help.

My computer is out of warranty, and what I want to do is upgrade, not repair the network card. All I need to know is the specification for the network/bluetooth card so that I can look after this. I am capable of carrying this out on my own.

I look forward to an answer to the original question, thank in advance!

I understand your concerns.

I would suggest you instead of purchasing the internal card. You can purchase the USB dongle. It is more reliable and supported by your product.

.

Have a nice day!!

Thanks for the suggestion. I would prefer to upgrade the card.

Since this is my machine and I feel I should be allowed to upgrade it as I see fit, I would like you to provide the specification I am requesting.

Thanks again.

@Locatino

Thank you for posting back.

I did go through the product spec and found out you have Wireless LAN - RT CARTIER AC 2x2 part number: 915622-001 installed and you can upgrade to 802.11ac, 2x2 dual-band card.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
