I have an HP Probook 440 G3 laptop with the following wireless adapter "Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter" and I wanna upgrade to a 5GHz adapter (Dual Band). Is this upgrade possible? And in that case, how can I know the needed adapter for my laptop?

Do check the number of antennae wires present in your laptop.
[edit]
Note that Intel 8260 card needs 2 antennae wires to function else you will lose either 5Ghz/Bluetooth functionality or the basic 2.4 Ghz Wifi functionality.
Been there done that. Now I have additional Intel 8260 card of no use.
