My laptop currently comes with Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11b/g/n (1x1) and Bluetooth® 4.2 combo. ( https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06386972#AbT1 )
It supports only 2.4ghz wifi. I would like to upgrade my internal network card to support both 2.4ghz and 5ghz. I saw many network cards on Realtek website but I am not sure which one is compatible and how to source it here in India. This is the website for reference.
https://www.realtek.com/en/products/communications-network-ics/category/wlan-nic
I undertand that to we require 802.11a to have 5ghz and I dont want an external usb type.
Thanks in advance.

Your machine only has one antenna, you should be able to use the following list (which is for 15-da1xxx machines):
Integrated Wireless options with single antenna (M.2/PCIe):
- Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 9461 802.11 AC 1×1 WiFi + BT5 Combo Adapter (non-vPro) (MU-MIMO supported)
- Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1×1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported)
- Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11 bgn 1×1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter
Regards.
