Pavilion dm4-2180us
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a hp pavilion dm4-2180us.  I want to upgrade the wifi card from 802.11b/g/n to 802.11ac.  Can I do this? I would like to know the compatible faster cards for my laptop. It would be a great help!

 

My current adapter is Intel wifi link 100 bgn

I understand that you would like to upgrade your WLAN card to an 802.11ac. When I checked the maintenance and service guide for your notebook for the recommended replacements, there is not an 802.11ac listed.   Please see chapter 4, page 40 for the recommended replacements:

 

HP Pavilion dm4 Entertainment PC Maintenance and Service Guide
