Good Morning,
I have an old PC I think it is already 8 years old may be more not sure. The laptop itself works fine, it has some overheating issues but I will be replacing the thermal paste to solve them. However, I noticed that whilst some laptops are reaching 60 Mbps mine only is able to reach 40 Mbps from the same router.
With this in mind, I was wondering if it would be possible to upgrade my Wi-Fi card to increase my internet speed since this hardware is already old and may be the cause of my troubles!
Thank you in advance for all your time and attention.
Best Regards.

Hi:
Yes, you can upgrade the existing wifi card to this model...
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 HP Part # 710661-001
You should be able to find this model wifi card on eBay.
Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
