@GIORGOSZ, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand how frustrating it can be when your Wi-Fi suddenly disappears. Let’s walk through a few steps to help restore your wireless connectivity.

Check if the Wireless Adapter is Enabled

  1. Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Network adapters.
  3. Look for your wireless adapter (e.g., Realtek, Intel, or MediaTek Wireless Adapter).
  4. If it has a down arrow, right-click and select Enable.

Power Reset the Laptop

Sometimes a simple power reset can restore hardware functionality:

  1. Shut down the laptop.
  2. Unplug the power adapter.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power and turn the laptop back on.

Run HP Network Diagnostics

HP provides a built-in tool to help diagnose and fix network issues:

  1. Press Windows + S and search for HP Support Assistant.
  2. Go to Troubleshooting and Fixes > Internet and Security > HP Network Check.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

If you don’t have HP Support Assistant, you can download it here: HP Support Assistant | HP® Support

Reinstall the Wireless Driver

  1. Go to Device Manager > Network adapters.
  2. Right-click your wireless adapter and choose Uninstall device.
  3. Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the driver.

Alternatively, you can manually download the latest driver from the HP support page: Official HP® Support

Check BIOS Wireless Settings

  1. Restart your laptop and press Esc repeatedly, then F10 to enter BIOS.
  2. Navigate to the Advanced tab and ensure Wireless LAN is enabled.
  3. Save and exit.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
