When connecting to any SSID from my available networks, I receive the error "Unable to connect to this network". Other computer, tablet, phones work fine with these networks. But, I can connect to LAN and to my mobile phone (hotspot).
I bought the computer on black friday, it worked fine a couple of days but since a approx a week it does not work any longer.
I tried of course already the
update network drivers
deinstallation and reinstall of hardware
Windows update
HP assistance

I have a similar issue but mine will not connect to a my mobile hotspot (non-tethered) or any WIFI network when acting up. I can see all the available networks and new WIFI networks appear in the list to choose from but after entering the password it says it cannot connect.
It seems to be triggered when the device comes out of sleep mode. When it's working, everything does work fine. A restart USUALLY fixes the issue but occasionally I have to completely shutdown.
I have tried:
- HP Support Assistant. All diagnostics passed, if the wireless is working. Otherwise it suggests that I reset the router.
- updating drivers.
- uninstalling and re-installing drivers.
