HP Pavilion - 15-cs0073cl Product 3TU13UA
Windows 11
My wifi has been sketchy lately and finally the wifi adaptor is no longer visible in Device Manager/Network Adapters. The only adapter visible is the wired GbE Family Controller.
After numerous troubleshooting attempts I finally decided to reset the the laptop to factory defaults, wiping all the programs and my data and start fresh using the D:Recovery utilities accessed through Settings/System/Recover/Reset this PC/Remove Everything/Clean Data
Final Options: "Remove apps and files. Clean the drive"
This was a last resort but I went ahead with it. I figured it would restore all the hardware settings/drivers fresh.
During the recovery process, I had to use the wired connection to get the laptop online. Usually it would activate the wifi adaptor, scan for networks and prompt me for a WiFi password. Even after all that, I CANNOT get the wireless adaptor visible nor active.
Part of the problem is when I go to HP support center and identify my Laptop, there is no WINDOWS 11 option in the dropdown to show the list of available drivers.
Is there a specific driver package for this wireless adaptor I can install then use Device Manager to directly install? Very frustrating experience.

Following those steps did not help. Support assistant fails.
I had once taken a screen shot of the adaptor before it went away
I tried locating and downloading this specific driver and it would not load. I cannot find Windows 11 drivers for this adaptor.
I tried resetting the network settings but that did not help.
I tried resetting the laptop to factory defaults, but save my apps and data - Still no adaptor.
I tried resetting the laptop to factory defaults, but wipe everything - Finally the adaptor shows up.
This is the second time this has happened. I would really like to find a solution that does not require me to reset this laptop and wipe it completely. This is a several day interruption as all the apps have to be reloaded etc.
