HI @Shrutila,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you’re having trouble finding or connecting to Wi-Fi on your HP DeskJet GT 5821 printer, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check Printer Wi-Fi Status

Verify Printer Status:

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and in a ready state.

Check Control Panel:

  • Look at the printer’s control panel or screen for any Wi-Fi-related icons or settings.

2. Access Printer Network Settings

Navigate to Network Settings:

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to the Setup or Settings menu.
  • Find the Network or Wireless settings section.

Check Wi-Fi Options:

  • If there is no Wi-Fi option visible, try navigating through the menus to find settings related to wireless or network connections.

3. Use the HP Smart App

Install HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer from the HP Smart website or app stores.

Add Printer:

  • Open the HP Smart app and follow the prompts to add your printer. The app will guide you through the steps to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

4. Use the Printer’s Wi-Fi Setup Wizard

Run Wi-Fi Setup Wizard:

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard. This will search for available Wi-Fi networks.

Select Network:

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password if required.

5. Check Printer and Router

Check Router Status:

  • Ensure your Wi-Fi router is powered on and functioning properly. Check for any error lights or issues with your internet connection.

Verify Signal Strength:

  • Make sure the printer is within range of your Wi-Fi network. If possible, move the printer closer to the router.

6. Reset Network Settings

Reset Printer Network Settings:

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network > Restore Network Defaults or a similar option to reset network settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
