Probably only around 10% of the HP 840 G6 machines do have WWAN option. You can check Device Manager of your machine to see: Does it have one of the following Entries
- Intel XMM™ 7262 LTE-Advanced (CAT 6)
- Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced (CAT 9)
- Intel XMM 7560 LTE-Advanced Pro (CAT 16)
If NOT, the good news is : Support for WWAN after market option (AMO), thefore you can buy and install WWAN card to your machine.
