Currently I have a few drivers for internet connectivity working but I do not think that they are the correct drivers. These drivers display as the following:
- Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165
- Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter
- Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter #2
- Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller
I tried to download drivers specifically for my device running Windows 7 x64 directly from the HP software/driver download page, but only the Ethernet driver installed which now that has even changed, I was going to try to detect the driver software by making windows search online for the software by making a lan connection with my router but as soon as I plugged in the ethernet, a bunch of drivers were installed onto a bunch of devices that did not yet have drivers. After finishing windows updates nothing had changed, I still had quite a few devices without any driver software but my WiFi adapter seemed to have installed the drivers listed above and ethernet was no longer available. Since I had WiFi I decided to go online to get the HP Support Assistant, after downloading the support assistant it had detected many of the devices without drivers, so I installed those as well. I still have a few devices that need drivers, not sure what they are. I tried the search online option and it came up with nothing, I can't find the manufacturer of the device, and their names are Unknown. These are not external hardware devices as I have nothing but power plugged into this laptop. I made this thread to find out what correct drivers I need for my wifi adapter, since I do not believe that I have the correct ones.

Hi:
Yeah, I don't know what those miniport devices do either.
Windows installs them automatically. I see something like 8 of them listed in my device manager.
I can tell you one thing... I wouldn't recommend deleting them. The are doing no harm.
Here are the links to the other two drivers you need...
PCI Simple Comms:
This package provides the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The Intel Management Engine Interface enables communication between the host operating system and the Intel Management Engine firmware.

Unk dev:
This package contains the driver that enables the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework firmware. Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework provide system temperature and power utilization information for the system thermal protection to function properly. This package is provided for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

Hi:
What you wrote indicates the proper installation of the wireless and ethernet devices, so either should be working.
If they aren't, unfortunately I wouldn't know why they aren't.
As for any other devices that need drivers, if you post the hardware ID's for them, I'll see what I can do to help with those.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...
