Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I recently bought a hp pavilion dv6-6c53cl it came without a wifi card....

I dont know wich one i need for it and also how to download a windows 10 driver since its not an option on the driver HP support website

 

I bought an Altheros AR5B95 but my computer wont boot and show me a page saying that its not compatible with my computer , is there a way to fix that or do i need an other card.

Your machine was vuilt around 2011 therefore due to the whitelist you can only use the following list

 

For use only with computer models equipped with an Intel processor:

 

  • Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n 1×1 WiFi Adapter part # 593836-001
  •  Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 WLAN module  part # 631956-001
  • Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000 WLAN module part # 593530-001
  • Intel Centrino Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150 WLAN module  part # 633817-001
  • Ralink RT3090BC4 802.11b/g/n 1×1 WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR Combo Adapter (Bluetooth 3.0+HS ready)  part # 630705-001
