Hello. I bought a laptop HP Laptop 15-fc0020ua (8F2C0EA). When installing Windows 11, the laptop does not see the WIFI network. You have to connect your smartphone and switch it to modem mode. So that the laptop will update the drivers. how to fix this problem so as not to connect the phone.
I want to change the SSD from 250 GB to 1 TB. What type of SSD does this laptop support?

When you completely reset the laptop and reinstall Windows 11, you again need to connect the laptop to the network. because it erases the wifi driver data. and so on all the time. Why does a modern laptop not see the Wi-Fi network when installing Windows 11? There is no solution to this problem online. You can't even disable this option when calling the command line. And there is no button; I don’t currently have a network connection to proceed with the Windows installation. The Next button is simply not active. And this is a problem for everyone who bought this laptop. Under the product description on the store’s website there are many questions about this, but there is no solution or you need to connect a smartphone and use it as a modem.

Hello again.
The SSD should work fine. It is PCIe 4 but should work without an issue, but your laptop's PCIe 3 interface limits the theoretical throughput to around 4GB/s instead of the PCIe4 8GB/s. This is quite meaningless for most people, but something your should be aware of.
Regarding Windows 11 installation:
I completely agree with you - Microsoft requiring a working Microsoft Account during setup is beyond stupid. No excuses.
There are however workarounds which may or may not work. Check the instructions on the following page:
https://www.windowscentral.com/how-set-windows-11-without-microsoft-account
Your other options:
1. HP has a Cloud Recovery Tool which creates a custom recovery USB drive. It is not available to all HP laptops, however. But this would be the best method.
2. If you want to install from Windows 11 media, make sure it is the latest version (23H2). Windows 11 was released in 2021 and your laptop model is newer - it is possible the wireless chipset wasn't available back then, so refreshing the media with the latest Media Creation Tool will bring it up to date.
3. if Microsoft has not included your laptop's particular wireless drivers in the Windows 11 media - you can inject the missing drivers with DISM command line tool in Windows, but this isn't very easy.
