I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my HP Pavilion g7-2251dx . I cannot connect to the internet due to the absence of drivers for the network adapter. Please help, the HP website support does not provide any drivers for Windows 7 that I can find.

Hi:
Here is the link to the wifi driver you need...
This package provides the driver to support the Atheros Wireless LAN adapter in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

I assume you need the rest of the drivers too?
If so, you can use all of the 7 x64 drivers and software from the g7z-2100, except the BIOS and firmware files.
You are also going to need the amd chipset drivers for the smbus and usb controllers.
Download and install the 1st file on the webpage and restart the PC...
