Hello everyone, first things first my English is not that good and i hope you understand what i say. First of all this laptop is not mine, my dad found it in the streets in Germany (yes i know weird) and i have it with me. So i opened the back of my laptop to find the Broadband Module because my SIM Card was not working, i opened the back of my laptop and looked for the Broadband Module and i couldn't find i only saw the WIFI Module and not the Broadband Module. I was thinking maybe the owner of the laptop removed the Module so i cannot put my SIM Card to work?. I do not know that's what i think but anyways, now that the laptop doesn't have a Broadband Module, i have to buy a new Module to make my SIM Card work. The issue is that here in Greece they do not have the HP hs3110 HSPA+ Mobile Broadband Module and the only way is to buy it online, I searched the HP Store but they didn't have it listed, so can anyone tell from where can i buy it? Also i want the cheapest one (not like 30 euros or something about 60-100 euros) Thank you

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04919621
The supported broadband modules with their corresponding HP part numbers are found in chapter 3 on pages 25 -26.
I do not see the HP hs3110 HSPA+ Mobile Broadband Module listed, so it would probably not work.
If the HP parts store doesn't sell them, look on eBay and search by the part number.
Hopefully you will find one by a seller who ships to your country.
Make sure that the required antenna cables for the WWAN card are in place.
It won't work without the antennas.

Thanks for the reply about what you said that this Module may not work in my laptop are you sure? because in the Specs list on the HP website it has the HP lt4120 Qualcomm Snapdragon X5 LTE Mobile Broadband Module and this Module that i have here, so i thought the 2nd one was the Broadband Module for my laptop but as you say it's not. Because i got confused with the Manual can you tell me what's the exact Module i need? there are 3 Modules and i don't know which is the one for me. Thank you

You're very welcome.
Yes, I see what you mean...confusion with the specs and the manual...
The specs show these modules...
Broadband Wireless (WWAN) 2,3 HP lt4120 Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ X5 LTE Mobile Broadband Module
HP hs3110 HSPA+ Mobile Broadband Module

I entered the part numbers in eBay and the device you see listed in the service manual...Huawei Wrangler MU736 HSPA+ w/GPS M.2 with HP part number 793516-001, is the HP hs3110 HSPA+ Mobile Broadband Module.
I see plenty of them listed for sale on eBay...

Ok i'll make sure i check if it comes with the WWAN Antennas, but how do i know if it comes with the Antennas or not? do i need to ask the seller or what? Also i checked the Modules on Ebay from the link that you gave me and most of them says ".... EliteBook..." does it matter that it's for EliteBook?

Hi:
Many times the models that didn't come with WWAN modules from the factory, don't have the antennas.
The antennas need to be there already, or you would have to order the WWAN antenna kit shown in the service manual and completely disassemble the notebook including the display panel to run the antenna(s).
So open up the notebook now and see if the antennas are there.
No, it doesn't matter where the cards came from as long as they have that part number.
