Hi, I was watching a movie last night and my Wi-Fi just went out. I assumed it was a routine outage by Spectrum but I was still connected to the Wi-Fi on other devices. It also works when I connect my device to an Ethernet cable. The Wi-Fi icon just disappeared from my Laptop. When I click on the taskbar, it only shows "Airplane Mode", "Battery Saver", "Accessability", and "Project".
Network Troubleshooting shows no issues when I run it while connected to the Ethernet cable. Network Troubleshooting when I run it disconnected from the Ethernet cable just tells me to connect it to an Ethernet cable... It's like the Wi-Fi settings just got deleted from my device.
I've done most of the basic troubleshooting tips from Google, reset, check for updates (there are none), hardware updates (there are none), Device Manager -> Network Adapters shows nothing Wi-Fi related. It's been a full day and I'm at my wits end because I do generally prefer to use my Laptop disconnected from an Ethernet cable so I can move around.
