You're very welcome.

Try the driver directly from Intel...the first driver on the left is for 64 bit.

Hi:

Did you install the wireless card driver?

If not, please do the following and I will post the link to the wireless card driver you need...

Go to the device manager, find the Other Devices category, and click on the Network Controller needing drivers.

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller window.

Now you see a Property drop down list and it is defaulted to Device Description.

Drop down on that and select the second item on the list (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters that begin with PCI\VEN.

Hi:

You need these wireless and bluetooth drivers for that model wlan card...

This package contains drivers for the Intel Wireless LAN adapter in supported models running a supported operating system.

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78001-78500/sp78136.exe

This package contains the driver installation package for the Intel Bluetooth in the supported notebook models running a supported operating systems.

NOTE: In order for this package to install correctly, the previous Intel bluetooth package must be removed before running this driver update (if applicable).

Thanks for the response Paul. I downloaded the Wireless LAN file then I got the folowing error messages:

1. The contents of this file cannot be unpacked

2. This program didn't install correctly. Try to re-installing using settings that are compatible with this version of Windows settings

Any suggestion?
