Realtek tried in the 2024.10.230.0 driver to solve the disconnection problems, but apparently it was unsuccessful.

I had an 8822ce card in which I also had random disconnection.

The 2024.10.229.1 driver solved the problem for me.

I would also recommend updating the router at home if possible because I updated it and it helped too.

@User463523

I used this driver, it is for other realtek 8822ce and 8821ce models if I remember correctly.

This driver was good, but for me it caused a blue screen when using the edge browser.

Interesting input - thanks all. I spent an hour on the phone with an HP tech support dude, and he seemed a lot more knowledgeable than the last guy I talked to. He thinks he has fixed the problem.  I'll know for sure tomorrow, but so far so good. I'm not entirely sure what he did, because there was a significant language barrier, but I think he uninstalled and reinstalled my Wi-Fi adapter.

RE the Dell driver, I wouldn't be able to do that while my computer is still under warranty.

Hoping this is fixed now... stay tuned!

Hey, buddy I have compared the Dell-modified driver with the Microsoft cab file. I'm using Windows 11 24H2 with the Microsoft Edge driver, and it literally eliminated random disconnection. I didn't receive any errors. I urge you to install this driver since it has a serious problem that has been fixed when compared to all prior drivers. (My rtl8821ce card) for continuous 10hr of testing on single span of time it worked and even after shutdown and power on it connects instantly.

I am glad that the problem has been resolved.

Someday when an error happens to me I will use the tips 🙂

IT ISN'T FIXED! The Wi-Fi is disconnecting *less often* but it's still disconnecting at least once a day. Sigh...

Have to wait for the next versions until it is fixed, or fixes on Microsoft's side.

I know windows 11 in 24H2 has network issues (I read on windows latest).

I'm sure you're right. On the bright side, the Wi-Fi is only cutting out once a day, which is an improvement.

I'm glad to see that it only disconnects the wifi once, I used to have a period of time like this too but it no longer occurs.

If there is any news about the new drivers I can let you know, as I also follow a lot of the driver pages.

new network card drivers are available (2024.10.230.2).

I saw it on the Asus rog forum in the Realtek drivers tab.

Maybe HP got a set of new drivers.

Interesting - I'll see if I can install that update. Thanks!
