My Wi-Fi started turning off when I plug in an Ethernet cable, I want to use the internet on my laptop as a mobile hotspot when connected to Ethernet another device for configuration.

Hi:
There should be a LAN/WLAN switching setting in the BIOS which is enabled by default.
When enabled, the Wi-Fi is automatically turned off when an ethernet cable is plugged in.
If you want to run Wi-Fi and ethernet at the same time, you need to disable that setting.
