Am I able to upgrade my WiFi/Bluetooth Adapter to a WiFi 6 module?

Hi:

 

None that I know of unless you can find one in the HMC format.   All the ones I am aware of are of the newer M.2 format.

 

However, since your notebook has an Intel processor, you should be able to upgrade the wifi card to this model...

 

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0     HP Part # 710661-001

 

The card can be found on eBay, maybe Amazon too.

 

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

 

Make sure you uninstall the wifi and bluetooth drivers on the current card, and uninstall the wifi and bluetooth adapters in the device manager before installing a different model wifi card.

Yes, I previously upgraded to an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 2x2 Network plus Bluetooth adapter (7260.HMWWB.R).  But I connect the laptop to a gigabit cable modem through an Amplifi Alien Router. 

 

Thanks for the help.  I'll keep looking for now.
