Good day,

My ISP has 5g service and I want to change out the installed  B/G/N Wifi board in the laptop I have with a 5G (A or AC) comaptable internal board rather than an external USB driven adapter. I am comfortable with building.installing components and computers, I started back when the 8086 chips were king. Last computer I built from parts had a Pentium 2 single core CPU.  I now buy most of my devices, but I am willing and able to add parts IF I know what part is workable in the computer I have. Any help will be appreciated.

By 5g do you mean you want to make/create a Mobile phone equivalent? Or just the 2.4/5.0 Ghz WiFi?

Thank you for the timely reply. I will be ordering three cards as I have three comuters to upgrade. 

  thumbs up on the left unclickable, but the one at the bottom was- I do hope that it was the coreect one- Still to new here to know my way around.
